Stesicoro Inhabit - Catania City Center in Catania, Sicily

Stesicoro Inhabit occupies a historic baroque palace directly overlooking the ruins of the ancient Roman amphitheatre on Piazza Stesicoro. The property is 300 metres from Catania's Cathedral and sits on Via Etnea, the main shopping street with direct bus connections to Fontanarossa Airport. Guests can walk to the Massimo Bellini Theater and Angelo Massimino Stadium within minutes from the central square.

Each air-conditioned room has parquet floors, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with a shower. Select rooms include a balcony facing the piazza or the side street, with soundproofing shutters to reduce city noise. Allergy-free rooms and a fridge with bottled water are available upon request, and daily housekeeping keeps the space clean.

A daily complimentary breakfast is served at two local cafes - Scardaci across the road or Condarelli on the same side - using a voucher system that allows flexible timing until 4PM. The breakfast includes a selection of Sicilian pastries and coffee, and the staff can accommodate special dietary needs when informed in advance. Guests also have access to a bar, room service, and wine or champagne available for purchase.

The 24-hour front desk provides concierge service, currency exchange, and express check-in/check-out, while the tour desk helps arrange walking tours, bike tours, and excursion planning to Mount Etna or Taormina. Recreational facilities include bicycle rental, happy hour gatherings, pub crawls, and classes about local culture. An airport shuttle, car hire, and public transport tickets can be booked directly at the property.

The hotel offers family rooms, baby safety gates, and babysitting or child services for guests travelling with young children. Kids' meals and special diet menus are available through the bar and room service, and grocery deliveries can be arranged. A minimarket on site provides basic essentials, and the central location makes it easy to reach the beach (€20 taxi) or the Bellini Park playground.
